Welcome to Hazelmere Junior School

Dear Parents, Children, Staff and Governors,

I am delighted to be writing this introductory letter as the new Headteacher of Hazelmere Junior School. What a fantastic first week it has been for me and the welcome that I have received has been absolutely incredible. I feel honoured and excited to lead this wonderful and vibrant community school on the next chapter of its journey in providing the best possible education for all the children who attend. I firmly believe that the foundations of the school will continue to be built around the ethos of ‘’If it’s to be…it’s up to me’’ and the 3 key values of ‘Be Ready, Be Safe and Be Respectful’.

I want to help create a school that thrives on collaboration, positivity and inclusion whilst working closely with all stakeholders to help the whole community feel especially proud of their school. I do encourage all parents to take up the opportunity to attend the Parent Forums that will enable all parents to meet with me in person. I am a firm believer in working collaboratively together in order to create an excellent learning environment here at Hazelmere Junior School.
